This text has not been reviewed by a lawyer. It is a working draft written by the Talven team and needs professional review before this product handles real patient data. We would rather say so than imply otherwise.

What this is

Talven is record-keeping and practice-management software for outpatient clinics. It is in an early pilot. It is offered as-is while we work with the first clinics to get it right.

Clinical decisions remain with the clinician

Talven stores and retrieves records. It does not interpret them. It does not suggest a diagnosis, propose a differential, check drug interactions, recommend a dose, or triage a patient. Every clinical entry — every medicine, strength, dose, frequency and duration — is entered by the treating clinician, and nothing is defaulted or inferred on their behalf. Clinical responsibility rests entirely with the registered medical practitioner.

Prescriptions and signatures

Prescriptions are produced as printable PDFs carrying the clinic and practitioner details entered in settings. Talven does not provide certified electronic signing. The treating practitioner must check the document and use the signing and issuing process appropriate to their practice and applicable requirements.

Your data

Patient records belong to the clinic. An authorised member can export them in a structured form at any time. We do not sell data, and we do not use patient records to build anything else.

Availability

This is a pilot running on free infrastructure tiers. We do not offer an uptime guarantee. Do not rely on Talven as the only copy of a record you are required to keep.
