Clinic workflows

Why we’re building Talven

A shared record should make each handover easier. Here is the thinking behind Talven, and the boundaries of what it does today.

Start with the visit

A clinic visit crosses several desks: booking, arrival, the consultation, billing, and sometimes a later follow-up. Talven brings those steps around one patient record, so each person can find the part they are responsible for.

Give each person a useful view

Reception needs appointments and the waiting queue. Doctors need the patient history and clinical documentation. Patients need the visits and documents their clinic has shared. The same account can also be both an owner and a doctor, which matters when the person running a practice is the person seeing patients.

Keep the promise specific

Talven currently supports outpatient scheduling, records, consultations, prescriptions, report review, manual billing, follow-ups and a patient portal. Online payment collection, WhatsApp messaging and bulk patient import are not available yet. Hospital beds, pharmacy inventory and insurance claims sit outside the current scope.

Build with evidence

The product is in demo access. We want clinics to try realistic workflows with fictional records, tell us where the work still feels difficult, and assess the gaps before making a decision. We will publish clinic stories when we have genuine feedback and permission to share it. This article is a product note from the team, not a customer testimonial.
